The contradicting ramblings of a sodding old fool

A diamond in the rough

You gorgeous lass, you special girl,
you make my day complete.
When light through yonder window breaks
I wake with happy feet.

Then walk the road & wonder when
each day will happily begin
with you wrapped tightly in my arms,
all warm & fuzzy deep within.

I’ll give you wine & chocolat.
You’ll cook and clean & make me na.
I’ll give you every heart’s desire.
You’ll cuddle me front open fire.

Our girls will run & play for hours
while ma & da procrastinate.
They’ll head to bed for story time.
We’ll chill with flim and lovely wine.

Please come to me and liberate
me from this dreary afterlife.
Take me to ASDA pooper isle
and ask me if I’ll be your wife.

I’ll say yes. 🙂
