A Lonely Yorkshireman

The contradicting ramblings of a sodding old fool

257 days

It hasn’t been forever and it hasn’t been a year
Just 257 days that I’ve loved you, my dear

We haven’t had an argument, we haven’t concurred Rome
We’ve talked about our wedding & kids & our fabulous home

We’ve not done many things together, not really had a chance
We’ll get to all that stuff in time: New York, Vienna, France

I hope we get to do those things, see the world with you
What would I do if you were gone? I really have no clue
