A Lonely Yorkshireman

The contradicting ramblings of a sodding old fool

Never ending wait

Every moment I wait to speak to you.
Every day I wait to be with you.
Every week I wait to meet with you.
Every month I wait to live with you.
Every year I wait to marry you.

Every lifetime I wait once again
to share my soul with you.

Will I wait for you?
It’s what I do.
